Pisces Large Ripple Serving Plate

Crafted lovingly by artisans in Romania

Each piece is handmade in their home atelier using techniques that have been passed down through generations. The colours used are natural, made from local minerals and clays, then applied to the ceramics with cow horns and finetuned with wooden sticks. The technique is called 'jirăvirea'. Each piece is shaped on a simple kick wheel and decorated with a traditional motif.

These ceramics are sourced from the renowned Casa De Folklore, founded by Alice Munteanu, a Romanian native now based in the UK who maintains strong ties to her roots.
