Returns & Refunds

We want every customer at The Hackney Draper to be happy with their purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return your item(s) within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt.

In-Store and Online Returns

In-store: Return unused items within 14 days with your receipt.

Online: You are responsible for return postage. We recommend using a signed or tracked service and include your packing slip. Please notify us at hello@thehackneydraper.co.uk.

Checking Your Order

Inspect online orders on arrival. Any breakages, shortages, or fabric issues must be reported within 48 hours. Requests made after 48 hours cannot be refunded.

All cut-to-size fabrics and sale items are non-refundable. Because fabrics are natural, colours may vary between batches. Linen fabrics may contain natural slubs, which are small knots in the yarn that give the fabric texture. These are part of the fabric’s character, not a flaw.

All paint goods are non-refundable. We recommend purchasing a sample pot before placing an order.

Vintage Pieces

Vintage rugs are returnable within 14 days

All other vintage pieces are pre-loved and non-refundable. These items may show natural signs of use or subtle traces from their original materials or crafting, which are normal and contribute to their uniqueness.

Conditions for Returns

Items must be returned in original condition and packaging, with a valid receipt, within 14 days.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Online returns are refunded via the website, not in-store.
