These hand knotted rugs originate from Boujad, a town in Morocco’s Middle Atlas region, each carefully selected by our team. Traditionally crafted by Amazigh (Berber) women using hand-spun wool, Boujad rugs are celebrated for their plush texture, vibrant colours rich reds, pinks, warm earth tone and expressive geometric motifs. Woven intuitively rather than from a fixed pattern, every piece is unique and full of character.
Originally made for practical home use, Boujad rugs are now highly sought-after for contemporary interiors thanks to their artistry and distinctive designs. Their dense, soft pile offers warmth underfoot, while subtle irregularities in weave and colour reflect their handmade origins.
Each rug has been carefully restored, washed, and refreshed. As vintage pieces, they may retain minor traces of their natural wool and traditional weaving process, along with gentle signs of age that add to their authenticity.
They have been photographed in natural daylight. Due to variations in screen displays, colours may not be perfectly represented. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, returns are accepted within 14 days. Further information on our returns and refunds policy can be found here
