Repurposed from vintage cotton grain sacks. These versatile textiles served a dual purpose in Turkish households: as durable sacks for the sun-drying of grain and as lightweight Kilims (flat-weave rugs) used within the home.
Unlike the coarser hemp variety, these cotton pieces offer a more supple texture. They represent the domestic craftsmanship of the mid-20th century, where textiles were woven on narrow village looms for multi-purpose utility.
Cut from large-scale vintage cotton pieces to highlight specific weave patterns and historical wear.
