We understand that sometimes time-treasured pieces can lose their glow but not their sentiment. Here at the The Hackney Draper we're proud to say that we understand this completely. Over the years, we have built our reputation on high standards and an even higher quality of service, from the initial consultation to using the highest quality materials and workmanship.

We upholster all manner of pre-loved items as well as fabricating new simple pieces from scratch, such as shaped headboards. We offer a collection and delivery service for items in London and our lead time is usually approximately 6 weeks.

It’s worth bearing in mind that to re-cover a sofa or armchair can often cost more than buying a piece of a similar size new, so upholstery is often an investment and not a cost-saving alternative. To give you an idea of indicative costs using an upholstery grade fabric at £50 p/m:

3 seater sofa - £1,900
Armchair - £1,050
Mid-Century Chair - £500
Piano or small stool - £160
*All costs include vat

Obviously each project will be quoted individually and the above costs include re-covering only and exclude new springs/pads.
